So it’s been 25 years since Metal Gear arrived on the NES and today, Konami celebrates with Metal Gear Music Selection available now on iTunes! Usually these types of things are only available in Japan, which is somewhat true. Metal Gear 25th Anniversary ~ Metal Gear Music Collection, the commemorative album is intended to be a companion piece to the 20th anniversary arrange album, with this iTunes edition covering Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Online, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

The album contains only a few original tracks but heavily focuses on new arrangements, tones, and vocal themes that get the full orchestral treatment. Anyone who enjoyed the music in the latest Metal Gear games may want to check it out on the iTunes store where it’s available for only $7.99.
