Video: Mint&Serf Hold Press Conference Announcing Deal with Plutonium Paint

12ozProphet was in attendance as Mint&Serf held a press conference announcing their new relationship with Plutonium Paint. The duo have been receiving a lot of attention recently taking part in CNNCTD+100 which launched at the New Museum, being featured in the latest issue of Dossier magazine, and currently in the 93 ‘till Infinity exhibition with Clayton Patterson in the Lower East Side.
To get their message out to the public, their spokesperson Cat Marnell, the celebrated controversial Beauty Editor of xoJane, spoke on behalf of the graffiti duo, fielding questions from the crowd. Plutonium Paint is produced domestically in Detroit and “is environmentally friendly, by using a 70% pigment load and 30% propellant, thereby reducing its carbon footprint by 50%.” With Spring’s arrival and this newly negotiated deal, we look forward to this tag team bringing color to the streets of New York.

I have to say, these 12oz news items are the pits.
remember when you could get on 12oz and not have to click off 3 screen size ads just to look at graff. 12oz should be added to that wall Sever did, They’ve completely sold out. I’m guessing by 2013 there will be nothing graffiti related on here. Probably a “street art” website with everything done on the street minus spray paint or markers. Graffiti open it’s doors and all the suckers came running in. We used to have a little street cred but now every buck tooth dork and hipster girl are street artists.
