Mixtape Monday: Stack Bundles – Remember My Name

By - Monday, April 28th, 2014

Opinions on hip-hop vary depending on who you talk to but it’s undeniable the impact that Stack Bundles (born Rayquon Elliot) made when he came on the scene in NY with appearances on mixtapes hosted by the legendary DJ Clue. Known for his hard-hitting delivery and lyrical ability, Stack Bundles was able to hold his own alongside many established emcees like Joe Buddens, Fabolous, Jim Jones and a host of others. Before his death in 2007 it was clear that Stack was on his way to a becoming the star most people around him already knew he was. Released after his death, Remember My Name contains some of the finest examples of raw talent and imaginative word-play Stack Bundles had to offer and reminds us why we should remember his name.
