Lana Del Rey‘s “Ride” is a 10-minute short film, shot in the desert of Nevada. Her voiceover is set against haunting shots of Lana walking alone in the streets of Las Vegas and showing how she spent a summer hanging out with bikers in the desert. “There’s no use in talking to people who have a home,” she whispers. “They have no idea what it’s like to seek safety in other people, for home to be wherever you lie your head.” This perfectly shot short film was directed by Anthony Mandler (who also directed “National Anthem”).
