N.O.R.E. Changes His Name to P.A.P.I for New Album

By - Monday, January 7th, 2013

We can add another artist to the list of identity crisis name changes. The artist formerly known as N.O.R.E. will now become P.A.P.I., an acronym for Power Always Proves Intelligence. The Queens rapper told MTV, ” I wanted to do something totally different for the album.” and goes on that “sometimes if you’re lost, the best way to find where you’re at is to go to the beginning.” After thinking long and hard, he decided on P.A.P.I., his “official nickname” in Queens even his mother calls him. P.A.P.I. just dropped this new video for “Tadow” today, which features French Montana, Pusha T, and 2 Chainz.
