Nike Ends Contract with Lance Armstrong

Lance Armstrong and Nike officially parted ways. After having worked together since 1996 this split comes after evidence that Armstrong’s highly publicized doping scandal. “Nike does not condone the use of illegal performance enhancing drugs in any manner” it said in a statement. Armstrong won the Tour de France seven years in a row from 1999-2005. The USADA banned him from cycling for life and stripped him of his titles he earned throughout his career, including his Tour victories.
