{image-1} So the Rockman/Mega Man game series hits it’s 25th anniversary this December. December 17th to be exact and Capcom has no plans on releasing anything for it. This fuels the fire for Mega Man fans as the last Mega Man release was 2 years ago. So one took to the Ask Capcom section on the site and asked what’s up and if anything was on it’s way for December. Christian Svensson, the Capcom Senior Vice President, responded that the company does have plans to celebrate Mega Man’s 25th birthday. For right now, the only game planned is Mega Man Xover, a social game for the iPhone. How thrilling. The furious response of the fans after the announcement rose as Capcom then cancelled both fan favorites Mega Man Legends 3 and Mega Man Universe.
