New York City threw a ticker-tape parade in honor of the NY Giants today, commemorating their triumphant victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI. Thousands of fans lined the streets to watch their beloved Giants make their way down the Canon of Heroes. A sea of blues and reds cheered on as each float passed, growing successively louder as Giants’ team members celebrated with the True Blue faithful. The parade made its way to City Hall Plaza, where Mayor Bloomberg presented the team with keys to the city. Thanks for bringing the Vince Lombardi Trophy to the “Big Blue” Apple, Giants!
