{image-2} If there is anyone in New York thinking about replicating Saber AWR’s skywriting stunt, please take note! NYC’s leading anti-graffiti advocate Queens Councilman Peter Vallone Jr. spoke out today against a recent skywriting project that startled some sensitive New Yorkers. The art project, headed by Kim Beck, featured slogans Kim found in billboard advertisements and written in the sky above Manhattan. Phrases like “LAST CHANCE” scared some locals thinking it was a terrorist threat. Vallone said the project was “Plain stupid – no pun intended”. Kim said the messages were only intended as reflection of the state of the US Economy and that they weren’t meant to scare people. {image-1} Text: Kellan Source: NY Daily News
