NYC Graffiti: Church on Church Ave

By - Wednesday, May 6th, 2015

This wall is entirely filled around its visible side. It’s a newly built church that, for some reason, is no longer in use. It has been hit by several graffiti bombers, including Lewy (BTM), Dink (PBS) and also includes rather large, but cool and classic ZAONE and STU (AOB) tags.  The wall also houses the work of writers who are trying to become graffiti staples: Seo, Panic (SB), SERVE (R2B) and a writer who is unfortunately no longer with us, Zoner (Val). The neighborhood is always busy with pedestrian traffic, tourism and locals who live in the area. This strip is also well known for having police checkpoints (and a precinct) about 4 blocks away. Peep the pictures and enjoy that classic style of NYC graffiti.
