Obscure Origin Issue 3 Out Now

By - Wednesday, December 18th, 2013

As of late, we have seen the return of something that has helped keep the graffiti culture alive, zines. They preserve graffiti after the buff and offer a glimpse inside what writers think with interviews. Whether it’s a cut and paste style zine or designed on a computer, they have and always will be part of what keeps graffiti alive. Obscure Origin, chroniclers of West Coast graffiti, specifically in Portland releases their zine every couple of months, this one being the best we’ve seen thus far. The issue impresses with an awesome hand lettered logo drawn up by the infamous Clown tits, full color spreads of the best graff the West Coast has to offer including tags, throws and pieces and an exclusive interview, with legend IKSO ftl. Available now for $10 These guys always send out their orders with a bunch of goodies like stickers, drawings and sometimes even beer koozies! Check it out and help support a group of kids who are always working on cool projects.
