On Display in D.C.- Roy Lichtenstein: A Retrospective

For the first time since his death in 1997, Roy Lichtenstein’s work is on display at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. Coming from the Art Institute of Chicago, the exhibit will be open to view through January 2013, when it heads to London until the spring. More than 100 of Litchenstein’s paintings will be on display, along with a selection of drawings and sculptures. Works will include his classic early pop paintings, as well as some of his later works.
