Lazarides & The Vinyl Factory Present BRUTAL

By - Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013

October marks the sixth annual off-site Lazarides exhibition that coincides with Freize Art Fair in London. Presented with Vinyl Factory, BRUTAL is a body of works defined by its theme. The collected efforts of international artists includes mural work by Pose, DALeast, REAS, and installations by Know Hope, Mark Jenkins and Berlin’s, Brad Downey, that vividly and uncomfortably capture a modern, harsh reality. Gang culture, street culture, activism, hostility, abandonment, and survival are all appropriate terms when dissecting our urban condition. The space, resembles a haunted parking garage characterized by its grunge and grit that creates a primitive dialogue between audience and art. On now until October 27th. 180 The Strand, London WC2R 1EA Lazarides Website Author: Ro Sabourin Source: Lazarides Official Site
