Openings: Moving Murals at City Lore

City Lore, an institution founded in 1986 to document, present and advocate New York City grassroots culture has recently moved and who better than Henry Chalfant and Martha Cooper to help christen their new gallery at 56 E 1st St. Moving Murals: Henry Chalfant and Martha Coopers All City Graffiti Archive will be up until July 10 and will give people a fresh new way to view many of the iconic images that helped spread the graffiti movement worldwide .
