Brooklyn graffiti legend, and Lordz of Brooklyn OG Kaves just laid down a fresh burner for the recently departed Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch. Kaves had done work with the Beastie Boys in the past designing the cover of their ‘Intergalactic!’ DVD, and remembered the experience fondly.

“I did this for the Beastie Boys years ago. MCA hired me to do this for their dvd release for Intergalactic! Of course, they were a big inspiration to me so I refused to charge him. But he wasn’t havin’ it! He said all artist should get paid for what they do! He was a stand up human being and always be BROOKLYN ROYALTY…” -Kaves
