In Pictures: THR and Friends Art Lot

By - Friday, May 2nd, 2014

At first glance this abandoned lot somewhere in Brooklyn looks filled with trash and graffiti. However, take a step inside and discover a little piece of heaven. Without knowing the exact sequence of events, the place was graffitied and filled with art. Allegedly, this was the site of a late night poetry reading that Twist was present for. Don’t quote me on that. The graffiti and art compliment each other really well, and it is unique to see one lot sprayed almost exclusively by one group of talented writers. Photographed on two separate days, the piles of scrapped building materials and trash ended up being art in their own right.
