Poster Boy Gets The Hook

By - Friday, September 16th, 2011

Reputed street artist Poster Boy, known for his Banksy influenced dismantlings and reconstructions of advertsing materials, was scheduled to have a Gallery Opening at Trinity College in Hartford, CT sometime in the next few weeks. However, when college administrators learned that he openly admits to stealing his materials, the show was “postponed”. While the artist cries censorship and the school alleges foul play, the Hartford Courant did a front page story on the whole ordeal, and revealed more about the artist than he may have wanted them to. Lesson learned: don’t talk to journalists if you got something to hide. Photos: Hartford Courant Photography Text: Wileyakin
