Preview: HARD Day of the Dead

By - Saturday, October 6th, 2012

Looking for a Halloween dance fest? If you live in the L.A. area, look no further and go to HARD Day of the Dead, an electronic music festival taking place the evening of Saturday, November 3rd. Day of the Dead is a showcase of the best artists affiliated to Trap music and Moombahton. The festival features esteemed artists such as Major Lazer, Justice, Diplo, Araabmuzic, Dillon Francis, and Zeds Dead—in addition to 22 others. Baauer is one of the most exciting acts to make it onto HARD’s lineup. The 23 year-old gained a broad reputation with his release of “ Harlem Shake” last spring. The club-banging track fully embraces the trap predilection for drum kicks, hyperactive synthesizers, and colossal bass. If you’re down for explosive dancing, check his stage out. Enough praises cannot be sung to the lineup as a whole, but the opportunity to see producers Diplo, Araabmuzic, and Dillon Francis all in one night cannot be passed. Chill with some ghouls and under a full moon bring out your wildest side through EDM catharsis.
