This is a preview of the vinyl figure featuring the likeness of the late, great producer and beat extraordinaire, James Yancey b.k.a. J Dilla. It was created by Philip Young Song in collaboration with the J Dilla Foundation. It is sure to be a hit among his legion of fans (myself included) upon it’s release later this year. The figure features his iconic Detroit fitted, silver donut chain and of course his weapon of choice, the MPC. Stay tuned for more info.
