New York based artist, Scott Campbell has his first European solo exhibition coming up this week in Zurich. Known internationally for his tattoo artistry, his work can be seen on such celebrities as Marc Jacobs, Penelope Cruz, Johnny Depp, Nan Goldin, Elizabeth Peyton and Richard Prince. Campbell will show a series of his fine art works from the past few years at Galerie Gmurzynska entitled Bless This Mess. Included in the exhibition is a group of rare works created for a show in Mexico City in 2010, which after an argument with the gallery owner Campbell set the already sold pieces on fire, destroying all but a few of them.
