The 12th annual Hip-Hop Theater Festival begins this weekend with “Fat Boy,” a play written and directed by Teo Castellanos and part of his D-Projects. It “explores rice rituals juxtaposed against hip-hop dance, Jamaican dub, Balinese aesthetic and spoken-word to explore the themes of scarcity and abundance in America and the world” and will be showing at the HERE Arts Center on Oct. 12th and 13th.
