PROPELLER: A Vans Skateboarding Video now available on iTunes worldwide
Vans’ feature length skateboarding video PROPELLER is now available for purchase on iTunes worldwide.
The entire skateboarding industry and skaters worldwide have been buzzing about Vans’ first ever, feature length skateboarding video since its release was officially announced back in April. This highly anticipated film, capturing the current Vans Pro Skate team landing jaw-dropping tricks in metropolitan cities around the world, has been in the making for 49 years. The cinematography of the film is stunning, thanks to director Greg Hunt, portraying individual skate stunts from various angles with high-quality video and an exceptional soundtrack, including tracks from Iggy Pop and Slayer and among others.
12ozProphet attended the New York screening of PROPELLER, and grabbed some shots (pictured above) of Vans pro-skaters Rowan Zorilla and Chris Pfanner, as well as Steve Van Doren (handing out pizza, in customized Vans pizza boxes, to screening attendees in queue for the next showing).
The PROPELLER: A Vans Skateboarding Video on iTunes delivers over an hour of unseen outtakes and the making of bonus content featuring the Vans professional skateboarding team. Upcoming additional PROPELLER features will also contain PROPELLER: RAW EDITS, a series of 14 clips from the cutting room floor-including alternate angles, unused tricks and behind-the-scenes perspectives, available for download with every purchase later this month.
“This video kicked our eyeballs in the nuts! “Propeller” is skateboarding.”
Skateboarders across the globe have turned out by the thousands for the more than 100 official PROPELLER screenings in 28 countries over the nearly 14 days since the Los Angeles world premiere.
