Rapper and Producer, Velous, an Artist to Watch in 2013

You can expect 21-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer, Velous, to start the New Year off with a bang.  The video for his single “Girls Gone Wild” (above) is slated to appear on MTV Jams at the top of 2013, and the artist is working on the release of his EP entitled “Velocity,” which can be expected in the first quarter of the upcoming year.

Well-versed in the piano, guitar, and drums, Velous writes, produces, and arranges all of his tracks. You can see him at work in the studio in the video below.

He was on-hand at last week’s NervEight launch party, an event celebrating the app’s entrée into smart phone world. There, he performed “Girls Gone Wild,” and received entirely positive feedback from the panelists, who anticipate it being a big hit.

After wrapping up 2012 with a concert tomorrow, December 26th, at Drom in NYC, the artist will hit the ground running in preparation for his album.
