Rapper Heavy D Died Today at Age 44.

By - Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

Rapper Heavy D, real name Dwight Arrington Myers, died today at age 44 after collapsing on his way home. Beverly Hills Police stated that “there are no obvious signs of foul play, and at this time his death is believed to be medically related.” Heavy and his group the Boyz released the single “Now that we found love” in 1991. Heavy also created and performed the theme songs for “In Living Color” and “MADtv”. After the death of the creator of Vans shoes yesterday, this is just too much! Over at 12oz, we have been playing the Heavy D and the Boyz song “Now That We Found Love” on repeat all day ever since we heard the news. We recommend everyone follow suit in honoring the memory of Heavy. R.I.P. Source: LA Times
