There’s always plenty of graffiti to be found in Chicago. That’s what we love about the scene. The best part about photographing graffiti are the adventures it can lead to.
You can take the train from the north side to the west side and see a bunch of different styles, or you can ride your bike around the neighborhood and find old walls that have been repainted, and new walls in the cut. On this particular day we decided to go for a joy ride, and ended up at Fullerton Market.
We saw legal walls, illegal walls, throw-ups, tags: the works. Some of the artists in these photos are: RASCAL, AMUSE126, MERLOT, ASPEN, USEM, CLINT WESTWOOD, HASEM, BNUTS, GRISL, JETSKI, TEACH, ISTO, RIOS, SLEEP, PYNO and WOER. If you’re in Chicago, we recommend exploring the different neighborhoods to see what each has to offer in the way of graffiti.
