The hype for Rayman Legends has been through the roof. Rayman Legends has been delayed once again, to “early September.” This may make for upsetting news for Wii U owners, who already saw it delayed out of the launch window and into February and March. But it’s good news for PS3 and Xbox owners who had yet to pick up a Wii U, as the game is now planned for simultaneous release on those platforms.

Ubisoft Montpellier will be developing all three versions. The Wii U game includes significant touchscreen elements obviously, including simultaneous multiplayer between the GamePad and Wii Remote. It’ll be interesting to see how, or if, those elements translate to more traditional control schemes.
