Recap: Bisco Smith – "World Upside Down" at Lowbrow Artique

By - Tuesday, August 13th, 2013

We checked out the opening reception for Bisco Smith‘s debut solo gallery show World Upside Down, presented by Daylight Curfew at Lowbrow Artique in Bushwick. Regarding the black and white pieces exhibited in World Upside Down, Bisco hopes to inspire thought with his work. It contains a lot of social commentary to make the viewer think about society and their day to day role within it. He also hopes to spark inspiration in the viewer and wants his work to encourage others to create. After moving from Brooklyn, Bisco currently lives and works in L.A. where he runs his design business IV Creative. World Upside Down runs until September 7th at: Low Brow Artique 143 Central Ave. Brooklyn, 11221
