Recap: Daze The Grey Scale at Known Gallery

By - Sunday, October 16th, 2011

The 12oz team was at Known gallery in Los Angeles last night to celebrate the openings of two amazing exhibitions, Daze’s The Grey Scale and How & Nosm’s Achtung! Old school graffiti artist and 12ozProphet blogger Daze grounded all the works in his show in a monochromatic palette with accents of color like a redbird train or the yellow stripe of a platform edge. The paintings of this Subway Art artist revolve around the NYC subway system, alternating between images depicting trains and train stations and others that depict graffiti pieces and some that bring the two styles together. Scroll down to check out some of the paintings in this show. Photo: Sunny Phono
