Recap: Indie 184 – 'Fantasy'

By - Sunday, May 19th, 2013

The opening reception for Indie 184‘s Fantasy was held May 18th at TT Underground Gallery in New York City. With her first solo exhibiton, Indie rummages through the landscape of being struck by platonic love, what can happen, and what it may all mean. Fantasy offers over a dozen new pieces from Indie as she expresses her energy through the use of mixed media including spray paint, acrylic, enamel, plaster, glitter, stencil, and paper on canvas. Likewise, Indie’s mind state is revealed through her paintings in a number of moods: protective, determined, melancholic, desperate, idealistic, maternal, emotional, mystified, understanding and hopeful. Fantasy runs through May 26, 2013 at: TT-Underground Gallery 91 Second Avenue New York, NY 10003 212-673-5424
