Named after West Australian slang for a 40oz and wrapped in a brown paper bag, each collectable issue of Kingbrown is mix of a book, magazine, and art zine. Inside you’ll find interviews and profiles that take you into the studios and mindstates of the Kingbrown associates. There aim to inspire and connect you to the subcultures they love. Take a look inside issue 9 here. As always, it is handcrafted and sewn inside its brown paper bag, which features silk-screen designs by Toy Machine skate board company founder Ed Templeton and UNGA of the Broken Fingaz Crew. Co-curated by The Hours, a collective project out of Sydney, comprised of Brad Eastman, Marty Routledge, and Numskull, The Yok and Ian Mutch again release a quality magazine which showcases photography, illustration, urban skateboard art, and design.
