Last week Lek (French Kiss, Gns, Lca, Raw, 1984), Dem189 (Lbd, 90Dbc, F1…) & Sowat (Da Mental Vaporz) released their first collaborative print at Sergent Paper in Paris titles “Bleu, Blanc, Rouge” printed in an edition of 50, signed and numbered by the artists. They decided to appropriate the french flag, as it would be the only point in common for the sons of Polish, Lebanon and American immigrants, but also, because its colors were the perfect way to fit the abstract madness that is their signature. On this occasion Lek & Sowat, “Mausolée” ‘s authors signed copies of their book and presented an installation made with polaroids and yarn. Scroll down to see photos from the opening.
