Recap: Malarky – Puppy Snatcher

By - Thursday, January 9th, 2014

December saw the opening of Malarky’s debut solo exhibition in London. Puppy Snatcher includes hand glazed ceramics inspired by the artists time spent in Stoke on Trent; spaniels, decorative plates and even a vase are featured. Although the show unveiled a new artistic direction from Malarky, who can usually be seen painting his colourful characters on shutters and walls, the body of work includes his signature fox that can be spotted around Europe as well as nods to hip-hop favourites Wu-Tang, Dr. Dre and the super S that we were all guilty of drawing on our school books in the 90s. The show will continue to run at Beach London (Shoreditch) until February the 2nd, which gives you plenty of time to check out Puppy Snatcher for yourself. All photographs via beastieboo.
