  • Thursday October 25, Soze Gallery in Downtown LA, welcomed UK-based artist Remi Rough for his first solo show in America. In the Presence of Angels features new paintings and sculptures from the artist which prove the once graffiti artist turned abstraction artist continues to evolve.

Using a combination of paint brushes and spray cans, a nod to his graff days, Remi/Rough’s geometric abstractions are heavy with vivid colors. His sculptural pieces are a relatively new development and shows his ability to discover and master new materials. The highly anticipated opening garnered the attention of art lovers and WCA/CBS members.
