By - Thursday, February 27th, 2014

On February 15, the Corey Helford Gallery presented “Innocence Lost,” a two-person show from graffiti legendRISK and Nathan Ota. The exhibition both looks back at a time when the two first fell in love with making art and also a look at how differently life may have been if they had chosen a different path. The pair have been painting together for over 25 years, which is evident in the way their imagery flows perfectly and compliments one another. Ota’s surreal characters are placed in RISK’s aerosol and vibrant landscape. “Innocence Lost” is an ode to their shared experiences as young artists and where the evolution of their craft. The show will remain on display on March 8. Words by: Keisha Raines Photos by: Birdman
