Recap: Samir Evol Arghandwall “Portrayals” at Petrea Gallerie

  • On March 23, Samir Arghandwall aka Evol (Seventh Letter) displayed his new water color sketches in his latest show “Portrayals” in Los Angeles at the Petra Gallerie. While the majority of the new works were portraits of friends there were also several portraits of a girl and her cat who was a fan of Evol’s art. With heavy brush strokes of water colors he created an interesting perspective of the girls that you would usually see on his street works (seen here).  In the back of the gallery was a blank wall everyone seemed to have fun with as well as a lot of members from the MSK crew showed up to give their support. The show is at Petra Gallerie in Los Angeles until April 13.
