Red Bull Curates Searches for the Next Street Artists to feature on their Canvas Coolers

By - Thursday, January 31st, 2013

The Canvas Cooler Project is returning in 2013 with a total of seven stops, in search of the next hottest street artist. The project features one-of-a-kind artwork on canvas-wrapped Red Bull coolers, which are featured at various galleries around the country. Winning artists are picked from each of the seven stops, and get an opportunity to exhibit their artwork during the final group show at SCOPE Miami during December’s Art Basel. Last year, selected artists were given one canvas cooler to complete a series of 3×3 drawings on for a chance at the Miami group show. Selected artists included Gerardo Cid, L’Amour Supreme, Kosbe Goons, Hebru Brantley, Don’t Fret, Gregory Siff, Hans Haveron, Claw Money, and Lydia Emily. The series of events will be kicked off tonight, at 9 PM at Public Works in San Francisco, where the judges will vote on their 2 favorite artists to feature in Miami.
