Recap: UR New York and T.Shirt Set It Off at Reed Space for Reebok Classic Sessions NYC

By - Friday, February 10th, 2012

The 12oz team was at Reed Space Wednesday night to celebrate the premiere event of Reebok’s Classic Sessions NYC. The concept behind this series is that “the music inspires the art. The art inspires the music.” This first outing brought together the graffiti duo UR New York and Queens emcee T.Shirt. The walls of this Lower East Side corner real estate were filled from floor to ceiling with a fresh installation from 2Esae and Ski inspired by a song off T.Shirt’s “The Fu*k” album entitled “Puerto Rican Rum.” Jeff Staple, founder of Reed Space and host of the event, introduced T.Shirt who performed before the packed house. Windows fogged, Modelo flowed, and some very lucky partygoers (present company included) walked out of the venue with a fresh new pair of Reebok Classic kicks.
