Re*Public Augmented Reality iPhone App Transforms the Cityscape

By - Monday, May 14th, 2012

The new Re*Public Augmented Reality iPhone app from the folks at Heavy Projects and PublicAdCampaign re-imagines the appearances of a couple famous buildings in New York and Los Angeles, collaborating with street artist Momo. The above video was posted by Jamil GS on his blog on 12ozProphet where he said, “I Like the way this is going. It is a natural progression from their previous app; the AR | AD Takeover in New York City. The mind of an artsist considers anything possible.” You can peep the video below to see the previous app he was referring to which collaborated with artists such as Ron English to transform everyday advertisements that were ubiquitous in the urban landscape.
