Rochester's Abandoned Subway: Graffiti Edition

We were painting in the subway the other day and documented what’s currently up down there. FUA is still holding it down as always, there were pieces from many writers including: Range, Snoe, Bones, Zoer, Cruk, Stop 176, Nova, Pozer, Downer, Veio, & Yews to name a few. Also saw a bunch of tags, Taro was keeping it fresh. It’s always a good show down there if you look in the right spots, and there’s also some stencil and wheat-paste art if that’s more your thing. It’s mostly a vast and amazing collection of work from the local crews and writers who have been holding it down in this city since the late 80’s early 90’s. There are some up and comers down there as well who are more recent in the last decade, so it’s interesting to watch their style progress over time on the rotating gallery of abandoned subway walls.
