Ronnie Fieg x Puma “Tokyo Sakura Project”

By - Wednesday, March 25th, 2015

Upon reflecting on a past trip to Japan, Ronnie Fieg drew his inspiration for his latest collaboration with Puma. The inspiration for the well known shoe designer and Kith store owner, were the cherry blossoms (Sakura) which blossomed only for a short period each spring. The R698 (low) and the R698 mid both feature pigskin suede and progressing colorways, to represent the changing of seasons.

The R698 marks the beginning of the season with its light pink base that changes into a darker burgundy shade at the toe. The R698 mid signals the end of the season through the passing of the burgundy shade in pigskin suede, into the navy blue shade in nubuck leather at the toe. Both pairs will include three sets of laces and they will be released at both Kith store locations and online this Saturday, March 28th at 11am.
