Saber Exhibition at Opera Gallery NYC

By - Wednesday, May 4th, 2011

Our homie Saber has not only become a legend in the LA graff scene but also a well known name in graffiti worldwide. Probably best known for the mega-piece he did in 1997 that probably still holds the the title of largest graff piece ever made. Placed along the steep cement banks of the Los Angeles River, it was close to the size of a football field and took 97 gallons of paint and 35 long-ass nights to finish. Saber began showing in galleries around 2002 and has also worked some commercial gigs with the likes of Hyundai, Scion, Boost Mobile, Roland Sands Design, Montana Paint Company and Karmaloop to name a few. This Friday, May 6th SABER will have a show opening up at Opera Gallery here in New York City. So if your out and about downtown, swing by the corner of Spring and Greene and check out the show.
