SEEN IN THE STREETS: BASK x GLENN BARR

By - Tuesday, September 9th, 2014

While in Detroit for his solo show “Location, Location, Location” BASK decided to colab with Detroit’s own and famed artist Glenn Barr. The title of their piece is “Where The Wild Things Are” and it depicts a young girl out with her pet monster. The image is unique in the way that when you see it, looks as though it has been there for years and not just days old. That look also gives it this erie feeling that it is just lurking in the darkness and daytime. The piece took two days and a short time during the night in between to project the image of the girl. For BASK this is another day in the life, but for Barr he has been a bit more inspired to do more walls and paint big. So keep an eye out for more of Glenn’s work as it may be popping up on a wall near you.
