Skate: Legacy – The History of Plan B Skateboards

By - Tuesday, October 16th, 2012

There are literally hundreds of skate videos out there but none of them compare in notoriety to the Plan B videos, “Questionable” being the most famous of them all. When Plan B started out they had the best team in the industry, hands down. Rodney Mullen is pretty much the inventor of modern day skateboarding, Danny Way brought the mega ramp to our TVs, and Rick Howard and Mike Carroll went on to create Girl Skateboards, two of the best teams of modern day skating: Girl and Chocolate. Alli Sports just released part one of “Legacy. The History of Plan B Skateboarding” explores the founding of Plan B, what made the team so unique back in 1991, the death of its founder Mike Ternasky, which caused Plan B to end all of its operations, and the rebirth of the company 11 years later by Danny Way and Colin McKay. There will be more to come from this series and hopefully an announcement of an upcoming video.
