Skate: Red Bull Manny Mania World Finals AM Contest 2012

The Red Bull Manny Mania World AM Finals came to a close on Saturday in New York City. The top world finalists battled it out and Joao Pedro Dantas from Brazil came out on top competing against stiff competition. While many of the riders peaked in the early rounds, Dantas stepped up the trick difficultly with each round, including many switch variations, namely a switch heelflip to switch manny to switch kickflip out. This victory granted him the opportunity to skate in Sunday’s Pro contest for a chance to dethrone last year’s champ Joey Brezinski.
