Skate: Red Bull Manny Mania World Finals AM Contest 2012

By - Monday, August 20th, 2012

The Red Bull Manny Mania World AM Finals came to a close on Saturday in New York City. The top world finalists battled it out and Joao Pedro Dantas from Brazil came out on top competing against stiff competition. While many of the riders peaked in the early rounds, Dantas stepped up the trick difficultly with each round, including many switch variations, namely a switch heelflip to switch manny to switch kickflip out. This victory granted him the opportunity to skate in Sunday’s Pro contest for a chance to dethrone last year’s champ Joey Brezinski. Check out Red Bull’s video above and Skateboarder Mag’s video below to see what you missed and scroll down for the full list of results. 1st Joao Pedro Dantas – Brazil 2nd Mohamed Saouti – Belgium 3rd Brandon Bandula – Canada 4th Jeremias Delgado – Finland 5th Dan Corrigan – USA 6th Douwe Macare – Netherlands 7th Sandro Moral – Argentina 8th Mark Issa – UAE 9th Moses Adams – South Africa 10th Fernan Origel – Mexico 11th Jose David Velez – Colombia 12th Augusto De Ferari Lasser – Bolivia 13th Axel Wellton – Sweden Source: Red Bull and Skateboarder Mag
