FREE: Skid Row Music Festival in LA This Sunday

By - Friday, January 13th, 2012

To start things off in 2012 with a positive vibe, Chuck D and Public Enemy along with Kurupt from the Dogg Pound, Mellow Man Ace and Zzyzzx, King T, Rapper’s Rapp Group, Sir Jinx and General Population, OG Kid Frost, L.A. Posse, and the Egyptian Lover will be playing a free Skid Row Music Festival on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday January 15th, this Sunday in Los Angeles. What’s even cooler about this event is that it’s a completely free and all of the artist choose to pay out of there pockets to attend and play the show. The idea from this event came from the whole Occupy movement going on, while thousands of homeless Americans on Skid Row are suffering, and as Chuck D was about to release his new book Freedom Now.
