Snoop Lion and Mark “Gonz” Gonzales Starring in Adidas’ Holiday 2012 Campaign

Starring in and narrating adidas’ 2012 Holiday Campaign video is none other than Snoop Lion and a bevy of other world-famous cultural icons including David Beckham, Rita Ora, and Mark “Gonz” Gonzales. The Cautionary Tale of Ebenezer Snoop, illustrated by the Beavis & Butthead artist J.J. Sedelmaier, is a modern and animated take on the classic story “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. The film chronicles the story of a grumpy cartoon Snoop, who learns valuable lessons on how to have a “happy holidizzle” from the Ghosts of Holiday Past (Stan Smith), Present (David Beckham) and Future (Derrick Rose and Rita Ora).

Snoop Lion himself makes a cameo appearance at the film’s beginning and end, transporting himself in and out of cartoon-world with the help of the cloud of smoke produced by his pipe.
