For the most part, graffiti artists in Chicago are mainly interested in painting walls, freight or regular trains. For some, having their work seen on highly populated streets is important, while for others it might be more important to paint vehicles that circulate their art throughout the city.Trucks aren’t painted as often as walls because a truck’s trajectory of travel is unclear, and whether the graffiti will be buffed before the truck has the opportunity to make it around the city is also uncertain.

Members of the SONS crew in Chicago teamed up with a truck driver to paint this truck front to back and top to bottom. This is a complete production in every sense of the phrase: a dope background, characters, matching colors, similar but individually unique piece flows. The entire truck is painted. The pieces are by COST, SMERZ, DES ONE, GOYA, DEAL, OMEN74, and includes character pieces by RENROCK, GOYA and LEDN. Since its completion, this truck has departed and begun its travels. Hopefully it will be seen by every neighborhood in Chicago and beyond.
