Supreme New York x Larry Clark: “Kids” 20th Anniversary Collection

By - Monday, May 18th, 2015

Supreme has teamed up, yet again, with Larry Clark, director of the cult film Kids, to commemorate the film’s 20th anniversary. Shot in documentary style, Kids is a ’90s film, focused on the day in the lives of a group of teens traveling around NYC, skating, drinking, doing drugs and having sex. The film has stricken controversy over the years due to its explicit take on youth culture and the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The cast featured in this film are authentic New York City teens, including original Supreme team riders, Harold Hunter and Justin Pierce (leading to the two partnering up in 2005 and again in 2015). The collection will feature photo stills on a hooded sweatshirt, long sleeved t-shirt, graphic t-shirts and skateboards of some of those raw moments that Larry Clarke was able to capture on film.

The capsule collection is scheduled to release in store and online on May 21st, 2015 in NY, LA and London and on May 23 in Japan.
