Supreme Reveals Collaboration with Black Sabbath
This morning, street clothing brand Supreme revealed their collaboration with the English rock band Black Sabbath. The collection blends Supreme’s streetwear aesthetic with Black Sabbath’s iconic imagery.
The full collection features a Denim Trucker Jacket, Hockey Jersey, Hooded Parka, Hooded Sweatshirt, Crewneck Sweatshirt, Long Sleeve T-Shirt, four Short Sleeve T-shirts, a five-panel hat and a rug. Following the Morrissey tee released earlier this year, this is Supreme’s second music collaboration for Spring/Summer 2016. The NYC based clothing brand has collaborated with other hard rock artists in the past such as Bad Brains, The Misfits, The Clash, and artist Peter Saville who has mad cover art for the bands Joy Division and New Order. Check out the rest of their Spring 2016 look book here.
The new collection uses images from the cover of Black Sabbath’s debut album, the “Paranoid” music video and the typography from Vol. 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Master of Reality. The band is still active and is currently on a world tour.
The Supreme collaboration drops in-store at NYC, LA, London, Paris and online on March 31st. The collection will hit Japan on April 2nd. For now, rock out to some Black Sabbath and watch Supreme’s new skate film “Pussy Gangster” below.
